About Chopper Aviation
One might think that a flight school with the name “Chopper”, it might be a helicopter or other type of rotor flight training facility. In our case, it’s the name of a beloved rescue dog who loved to fly. His name was Chopper. He had so many trips in our Piper Cherokee, that the plane’s nickname was Chop air. He did prefer smooth air over turbulence, however. So, when we decided to incorporate and formerly start our flight school, Chopper Aviation was the only name that seemed appropriate to use.
Our flight school can take a student from 0-time through airline transport pilot certificates. In fact, we have pre solo students who now fly for major US airlines. Our goal is to provide quality instruction at a reasonable price in a relaxed environment. We have well- equipped, well-maintained aircraft. Consultation is free so come check us out.
